Vegan Double Chocolate Brownies

On Friday I had a dinner date with my best friends, one of whom had been working at Disney World and I hadn’t seen for a year. It was a great evening of catching up, talking about long distance relationships, politics (elections are coming up in Mexico), veganism, exercise, cats… In a nutshell, the kind of thing you talk about with friends you haven’t seen in a while.

It was also a night to share recipes and dishes. One of them just became vegan and the rest of us have all been figuring out ways to reduce our animal-sourced-product consumption, so we mostly used each other as guinea pigs to try out new dishes and desserts.

As you guys might know, if you follow me either on this blog or Instagram, I have been on sort of a (mostly vegan) baking binge lately. So I made them brownies. Delicious, scrumptious, double chocolate brownies with a peanut butter, coffee base and nuts, salt grains, and vegan chocolate chips as toppings. They turned out absolutely delicious, chocolaty and melt-in-your-mouth good.
